I have loved dolls my whole life and am an avid doll collector. I have many dolls but none have goven me quite the same feeling as when I first stumbled apon realist dolls called reborn baby dolls through a friend.

Reborns started coming into vogue around the 1990s. Now it is a really popular form of art and people are goin crazy over them. Reborn dolls are extremely realistic looking baby dolls which also feel and weigh the same as a newborn baby. Every single aspect of a live baby is taken into consideration when making these dolls including veins, wrinkles, folds. Just about everything you can think of. Even the hair of a good reborn baby is planted and rooted individually by hand. They are called reborn dolls because they are recreated from a mold and slowly step by step they take the form of a real looking baby. This process of reborning can take a few weeks.
